Our Story
We are here to help your animal friends at the end of their journey, as we offer at-home euthanasia and cremation services through the Cape Coral Pet Crematory. We also offer emergency transportation to the hospital of your choosing. We have an oxygen concentrator in vehicle to help your pet remain stable if needed.
Our practice is limited to only at-home euthanasia and medical transportation with a licensed veterinarian. No other veterinary services such as vaccines, medical treatment, or hospice are offered from our service.
Our Team
Dr. Jessica Rubin,
DVM
A New York native, Dr. Rubin received her Bachelor’s and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Cornell University. After 8 years of practicing small animal emergency medicine in NY, Dr. Rubin relocated to sunny Southwest Florida, where she continued to work in the emergency room. Dr. Rubin has retired from Emergency work and started this mobile home euthanasia service with her partner, Rob Willsey. Dr. Rubin's favorite breed is golden retrievers and she has one currently named George.
This service would not be possible without the amazing efforts of Robert Willsey. Rob, also a New York native, spent a great deal of time working in small animal emergency medicine as a veterinary technician before moving down to Southwest Florida with Dr. Rubin. Rob continued to work in the emergency room while here as well and he worked with Dr. Rubin to open this business tin 2021 o help people and pets in need. Rob was an amazing technician and a lover of golden retrievers. We tragically lost Rob in 2023 and we have continued to operate this service in his honor. Rob was an exceptional man, son, life partner, and friend. He was a highly skilled and knowledgeable veterinary technician who brought comfort and peace to many beloved pets of Southwest Florida and Long Island, NY. He was also highly intelligent, hard-working, humorous, generous, reliable, truthful, compassionate, and fiercely loyal to his friends and loved ones. He truly enriched the lives of all who knew him and is dearly missed.
